– anydvd.exe is the main running process for the application of
the same name produced by SlySoft. The AnyDVD application is
used to unencrypt DVDs. The application is a driver file that
runs on Microsoft Windows systems and because it is most often
used in conjunction with a DVD burner or creator the anydvd.exe
process commonly runs in the background on machines in order to
offer its features as and when they are required without having
to run the software every time.
Users of the AnyDVD software are likely to want to leave the
process running on their PC. It does run in the background and,
on its own, is unlikely to have a noticeably negative effect on
the running speed of your system. However, having too many
processes running on startup can slow down the time it takes to
log onto your PC and can slow down the general operation of your
system.
